Payments 

Payments should be made in full either; 

. Cash (only applicable for last moment bookings), 

. PayPal (An additional PayPal commission will be added to overall fee),

. Bank transfer (Preferred method. No additional cost. Owner will provide necessary details).

  

NOTE: No safety deposit is requested. However if a long period is requested then payment arrangements can be made to suit both parties.

The owner reserves the right to cancel any bookings until full payment is received. 

Refund Policy 

Once the payment is received and a cancellation occurs the policy is as follows;   

  Cancellation made by you:  

. Before one month of the arrival date - full refund

. Within one month of the arrival date 

   full refund (if same amount of booking can be taken during the same period)

   partial refund (amount of bookings taken for the same period).

 Cancellation made by the owner:  

Full refund will be made. The owner will also do their best to find you an alternative accommodation in a similar location at the similar price range.

OWNERS POLICY

Medlar House is run on a practical, logical, economical, and environmentally aware manner. 

You will not find 

Individually wrapped soaps, 

Small bags of cereals, 

Small sized toiletries,

Little portions of jams, 

No bottled water (unless guests bring their own)

TV in rooms,

Separate tea/coffee making facilities in each room. 

Bedrooms should be peaceful & comfortable sleeping spaces but not little entertainment venues.  

In Medlar House waste is minimal. 
. Any organic waste is get composted.
. All recyclable waste materials are put in recycling bins. 
. Only the rest is discarded as rubbish.

I would welcome my guests to comply with this approach.
